Because I'm about to share something that literally changed my life, and I'm buzzing to pass this magic on to you.

Three months ago, I was drowning in my to-do lists, running on caffeine and dry shampoo, wondering if this hamster wheel of existence was really all there was. Sound familiar?

Then I stumbled upon Dr. Joe Dispenza on one of my many podcasts that I listen to and like what he was laying down and recommended reading his book "Becoming Supernatural", and honey... the universe cracked WIDE open. 🌌

At its core, this book is an invitation to transcend our ordinary reality and step into our extraordinary potential. Dr. Joe isn't just another self-help guru with feel-good platitudes. He’s in my opinion a mix of “The Body Keeps the Score” with Tony Robbins and a dash of reality changing philosophies. 

The book's premise sounds almost too good to be true: we can literally rewire our brains, transform our bodies, and create seemingly miraculous outcomes in our lives through dedicated meditation practices. But ladies, the SCIENCE is there to back it up! 🧪

Dr. Joe explains how our thoughts generate electromagnetic fields that influence not just our bodies but the world around us. When we learn to shift our energy and consciousness, we can actually influence matter and create what seems "supernatural" to our limited thinking.

The Science Behind the Magic 🧠

Okay, let's break this down in terms that won't make your eyes glaze over like when your date starts explaining why cryptocurrency will bounce back. 😂

Our brains are constantly forming neural connections based on our thoughts and experiences. This is called neuroplasticity. The more we think certain thoughts or feel certain emotions, the stronger those neural pathways become—like trails in a forest that get wider with use.

  3. The quantum field contains all possibilities already in existence. We're not "creating" our future so much as tuning into a potential reality that already exists in the field.

  4. Elevated emotions are the secret sauce. It's not enough to visualize what you want—you need to FEEL the emotions of already having it. This is what broadcasts your signal to the universe.

  5. Your personality creates your personal reality. If you want a new reality, you need to become someone new on an energetic level.

If you're like me, you're thinking, "Great, but HOW do I actually do this?" Don't worry, girl, I got you.

Dr. Joe outlines a clear process:

Step 1: Learn the science.
Understanding the "why" helps your analytical mind get on board instead of sabotaging your efforts.


Step 2: Begin breaking the habit of being yourself.
This means becoming aware of your unconscious thoughts, behaviors, and emotional reactions.


Step 3: Create a new future from the unknown, not the known.
This requires surrendering your attachment to specific outcomes and opening to possibilities beyond your current thinking.


Step 4: Practice dedicated meditation.
This isn't your basic "clear your mind" meditation. Dr. Joe's meditations are active processes of energy clearing, intention setting, and future self-embodiment.


He has so many to choose from, all of which I have been testing out since reading this book and currently doing a 30 day challenge of listening to his meditations every day.

This means making choices your future self would make, even when it's uncomfortable.

The formula is deceptively simple: Knowledge + Experience = Wisdom. You need to understand the concepts AND put them into practice consistently.

A Girl's Guide to Dr. Joe's Meditations 🧘‍♀️
Let me walk you through the different meditations and share my real experiences with each one:

Blessing of the Energy Centers Meditation
This meditation focuses on awakening and balancing your seven energy centers (chakras). You direct your attention to each center, from root to crown, breathing into them and filling them with energy.
My experience: I literally felt tingling and warmth during this practice! At first, I thought my foot was just falling asleep, but as I continued practicing, the sensations became more distinct. The third eye and root centers especially light up for me.
Beginner tip: If you struggle with focus, try placing your hand on each energy center as you concentrate on it.

Space-Time Meditation
This meditation helps you break free from the constraints of linear time, allowing you to access the eternal present moment where all possibilities exist.
My experience: This one was trippy at first! I struggled with the concept of "no time" until I remembered those flow states where hours pass like minutes. Now I use this meditation before big projects, and my creativity has increased tenfold. It helps to think of your soul stepping out of your body and floating in space.

Walking Meditation
This practice brings mindfulness into movement, helping you embody your future self in physical form.
My experience: I do this while walking my dog every morning or on my walking pad after work. I imagine I'm already living as my future self—confident, healthy, and fulfilled. I've noticed my posture has improved naturally, and it’s fun to “walk in her shoes”. 
Tip : While walking, imagine how your future “you” would walk in different scenarios. Walking through her job office or walking with her family or working out walking, etc. Putting yourself in these more mundane walking situations where you are your future you, allows you to visualize more of the big picture so you can become her sooner. 

Pineal Gland Meditation
This advanced meditation focuses on activating your pineal gland, which some call our "spiritual antenna" and which produces natural DMT (a compound associated with mystical experiences).
My experience: I won't lie—this one took time….and still taking time for me to get there but not giving up. Some people experience this after about six weeks of consistent practice. They start experiencing vivid imagery during meditation and incredibly intuitive dreams. 

Heart Coherence Meditation
This practice focuses on generating coherence between your heart and brain by cultivating elevated emotions like gratitude, joy, and inspiration.
My experience: This meditation has been LIFE-CHANGING for my anxiety. When I feel stress creeping in, I place my hand on my heart and generate feelings of appreciation. Within minutes, my nervous system calms down. It allows you to take some time to refocus and reset into you and how you want to show up.

Who Would Benefit From This Supernatural Glow-Up 👑

This book isn't for everyone, and that's okay.

But you might want to dive in if:
  • You're tired of running on the hamster wheel of life and know there's more available

This reminds me that transformation isn't just about changing actions—it's about becoming someone new at an energetic level.

    "Where you place your attention is where you place your energy."
My new mantra when I catch myself doom-scrolling or watching my 5th straight hour of YouTube on the weekends.

    “Frequency is what you frequently see.”
This one is wild because it explains vibrational frequency really well in my opinion. What your base frequency is is what you’ll constantly see but once changing it, you’ll be able to see so much more.

My Real-Talk Results (The Good, The Hard, And The Future) 🔮
Let's get vulnerable for a moment. This journey hasn't been all crystals and rainbows.

The Good: My anxiety levels have dropped dramatically. I sleep better. My creativity has exploded. I've attracted opportunities I wouldn't have imagined a year ago—including a speaking engagement that came "out of nowhere" (but actually came after three weeks of visualizing myself sharing my knowledge on stage).

The Hard:
Some days, sitting for 45 minutes in meditation feels IMPOSSIBLE. I've had emotional releases that weren't pretty (crying during lunch break, anyone?). And there was the week where everything seemed to be getting worse, which Dr. Joe explains it is often part of the process as old patterns collapse.


The Future : I am excited to continue on this meditative journey and trying to figure out how and where to place these daily meditations that fit into my life. This 30 day challenge where I don’t miss a day is going to be really interesting because people claim to have incredible synchronicities and excited to see what bubbles up in my own life.

I know what you're thinking: "This sounds amazing, but WHO HAS THE TIME?" I get it. We're all juggling a million things.

Here's how to realistically incorporate these practices :
  • Start small: Even 10 minutes of heart coherence meditation makes a difference
  • Use transition times: Do walking meditation during your commute
  • Create environment triggers: You can keep a meditation cushion visible by you bed so it's the first thing you see
  • Find your prime time: when is your brain primed for meditation? Are you an early bird or a night owl? Test out both. 
  • Make it non-negotiable: We make time for what we value—this is your life force we're talking about!

For the mamas:
I know several women who do abbreviated practices while their kids are napping or even involve older kids in simplified versions like gratitude moments.

Here's what I want you to know: you don't have to be perfect at this. You don't need to meditate for hours on a mountaintop or get every concept right away. This is a practice and a journey.
What matters is beginning to understand your power as a creator of your reality. 

We've been taught to be passive recipients of life, but we're actually powerful transmitters of energy that shapes our experiences.

The most supernatural thing about Dr. Joe's work might be how it reveals that being "supernatural" is actually our natural state—we've just forgotten how to access it.
