They go through life doing what they think they should be by those closest to them.

It could be to go to college …… or it could be to not go and stay in your hometown working the same job you did in high school. 

Either way the decision wasn’t what you might’ve wanted and you just went with whatever flow was given to you. 

But as you grow you can’t help but feel like you were meant for more or meant for something different but then you find yourself repeating the same mistakes that keep you trapped in the same state you find yourself in. 

You want to change and find your purpose in life but don’t know who to become or what cause to make your own. 

Well luckily for you, there is a method that you can do to help guide you to becoming whatever it is you truly want to be and finally find your purpose in life!

And thankfully it’s pretty easy to start and I’m here to help you finally reclaim your life and start to become your true self!

Hello and welcome to the Goddess Energy Academy where I, Angel, help others awaken their power within to craft and create a life that is as beautiful and unique as the goddess that makes it. 

And one of the first steps to manifesting and keeping that life is the skill of becoming properly self aware. 

Becoming self aware will change your life … instantly. 

You start to realize not only why you do certain actions but once you realize them, you then can change them for good. 

You can change your actions to be better, become sharper or you can completely stop doing those actions because now that you are aware, you know what your triggers are that help make you act like that. 

You can finally stop doing what you're told by people who may have your best interest at heart but don’t know what is actually in your actual heart. 

You deserve to tap into your inner goddess, which is just your inner powerful true self, and become so confident in yourself that people no longer feel like they need to sway you into living their life because they can see that you fully know who you are and are living for you. 

And who doesn’t want to show up as their most confident, self assured, powerful and radiantly authentic self?

So enough chit chat, let’s get to the facts.
The first step to becoming self aware is to start paying attention to your actions, thoughts, and how you conduct yourself with others. 

By seeing how you act, you are then able to dig into why you act that way. 

I find writing each morning helps me with being able to digest the prior day or days because it gives me a bit to mull it over (and I don’t have the energy at night to write). 

But if I’m at a gathering or out and about when something I notice that I do and want to change or stop, I text myself or capture a quick note about the situation to go back to later. 

By writing it down, you can then forget about it and focus on whatever you’re doing because trying to remember something while trying to “be in the moment” is difficult. So make it easier for yourself by just taking a quick note and relaxing knowing that you will get back to it later. 

Then when you do have the time to dive into the situation or habit of yours, act like a toddler who only knows how to ask “why”. 

Because usually what we think is the first reason for something, really isn’t the issue and it's actually like 4 layers deep. 

For example, I used to get really triggered whenever someone ate gluten free food at an event or gathering that lasted for hours if not days that was meant for myself and others who physically can’t eat gluten, when they themselves can have gluten. 

My first thought was “how could they eat the limited 1% amount of food that is the only thing I can eat but they can have the rest of the 99% of the food here, how inconsiderate!”

I then would hold anger and disgust towards them for how they were, to me at the time, spitting in my face saying you can starve because I got here first. 

But after doing a lot of reflection on why I felt so overly emotional about it, I realized that having someone take my food without asking and leaving me with nothing, stirred up my childhood where we didn’t have food and brought back the days when I didn’t know when I would be able to eat again. 

This random experience plucked a cord so deep within me that it triggered my survivor trauma energy without them or me realizing it. 

And the people who did this, they’re just unobservant and didn’t put it together (and some still haven't) that I can’t eat anything else and by them eating something they don’t need to is making less for us who need it BUT once I figured out how it was affecting me I made a game plan. 

Whenever I go anywhere, especially this gathering of people for hours/days, I bring my own back up food and protein bars in my bag so when this happens again, I can relax my instinct in that moment when she rears her head and calm my body knowing that I am taken care of and they can eat everything here with no problem to me because I got me and have reserves up stairs. 

By being self aware and digging DEEP into why I’m feeling some type of way, allows me to show up better not only for myself but for those around me too. 

The amount of relief I got from this one step has easily saved your girl a few more gray hairs and that is just the tip of the iceberg. 

SELF AWARENESS & SELF SABOTAGE

Not only does being self aware help you in those instances but it also helps you to break habits that were either placed in you by someone from your youth and no longer serve you or were a reaction to your environment that no longer fits with you now. 

This is something along the lines of self sabotaging when you are giving two paths, a healthy one that leads closer to your goals and the other path of one where you repeat the same cycles of bad choices that push you back. 

By becoming aware, you are then able to pick and choose who you are and what actions you choose. 

You can craft your identity and how you want to show up in this world. 

I am talking from personal experience here. 

There were a lot of parts of me (and still some now that I’m working on <3 ) that I wanted to change or give up completely because that’s not who I want to be anymore.

So by going through the examples of life scripting, you can learn more about how to do that here, I was able to take a second and actually think, if I could be anyone…who would that be?

And as I started to write out a bunch of ideas through the example in the blog post linked above I got to work on creating goals and start practicing being the new me. 

And while I tested out a bunch of different traits and skill building, I was still using my ability to be aware and see if it really flowed with me and my soul. 

A lot of the parts of my new identity I realized was not someone I wanted to be so I tweaked it and tweaked and will continue to tweak it until I am someone I can be EVEN MORE proud of than I am today. 

By having a person or traits that I want to be, it gave me the ability to pause when given two choices, one that leads me closer to my new me or the one that would lead me back to the older version of me. 

All I had to do was ask, “Who do I want to move closer to that will make me happier in the long run?”. This has helped a lot with me being able to stop self sabotage and stick with my new goals.

By taking the power back of choosing who I want to show up as in the world, it has already changed my life drastically because I am now confident in who I am and who I am becoming because I am consciously choosing me. 

I choose how I want to show up and become and act and express myself. 

How many people can truly say that? 

By going on this journey you can’t help but feel so empowered and feel like “that girl”, or better yet, like the true goddess you were meant to be. 

We as women have the POWER of CREATING LIFE (whether or not you can/choose to use it, you still are born with that power) and who else can create life….GOD!

So awaken your inner goddess by becoming self aware and CHOOSE to take back your POWER and become the best, strongest, most confident  you you can be! 

COMMON SELF AWARENESS MISTAKES  

BUT there are some MISTAKES people make when going on this journey.

Beware of going too far on either side of this spectrum.

Too self aware in the negative sense will land you in the realm of being overly self conscious and no one likes being there. 

Being too aware in the other direction lands you in the world of self obsession and centeredness which makes no one want to be near you.

Ways to self guard yourself from going too far on either side is to be realistic about certain situations. 

Ask yourself, with no judgment or shame, “am I acting in my highest form here or is something/one trying to force me into their limitations?” or “do I really need to feel this nervous about this situation? Is it going to kill me?”

You don’t want to be so consumed with having everyone treat you like a queen all the while being a nightmare of a person to be around.

I’m not saying to dive into the world of people pleasing because that is just another version of hell that you’re putting yourself in (read this post here)

But are you showing up as someone who respects themselves enough to be kind to people who deserve it while also standing firm in their boundaries and not taking everything so seriously? 

This looks like showing people the same energy that they are giving to you but done more elegantly. 

If someone, for no reason (and really think to make sure there is no reason for it), is being cold to you even after you try to be polite (not being kind/overly pleasing here, just acting as an adult) but if they keep being cold then turn your back on them and don’t give them any more of your precious energy.

Same if someone is being catty, but in this instance just ignore them and that will piss them off to no end. Odds are they don’t have claws and if they do go after you while you are taking the high road of not falling for their pity behavior, you’ll come out looking WAYYYY better than them. 

BUT make sure that your actions aren’t directly causing pain. 

This looks like you complaining about spending money on a trip you chose to go on to a friend who has 2 kids and hasn’t been on a trip in 5 years. Save the complaining for someone who can understand better or change your way of thinking about it by potentially working on building up gratitude. 

Example for being self conscious is when you get so nervous to hang out or talk with someone because you have some flaw (gray hair, chipped tooth, stutter, etc) not realizing that they have their own flaws and barely notice yours. And if they do and make you feel some type of way about it, then that is a sign from the universe that you should not hang out with those people and they aren’t meant for you.

This looks like not complaining to a single parent with no help about how your parents don’t baby sit more than they already do. 

Basically, when speaking to someone, try to, as cliche as it sounds, put yourself in their shoes. 

How are your words and actions coming across to that person? 

Now it is incredibly difficult to truly know what someone else is thinking but you can make a probable guess on how it might hit. 

Being truly aware is truthfully and honestly seeing yourself as you are and how other people see you as well. 

Now there are going to be people who just don’t like you and that is more than ok because that allows you to free up your energy for people who like you automatically and authentically. 

Don’t waste your time on people who don’t like you by trying to get them to like you.
It's pointless and probably going to be more difficult to maintain that relationship rather than the people who just like you as you. 

CONCLUSION 

We only have so much energy in a day, so use it wisely on truthfully seeing yourself (with no judgment because it’s not helpful for you) and honestly seeing how others might see you.

By claiming yourself you open the doors for untapped potential and relationships that will help you thrive and put you on a path that you love.

Who doesn’t want to wake up each morning knowing that they can spend their energy and time on what truly matters to them and not waste it on “why doesn’t Cassie like me?” or “ugh I bet everyone noticed the stain on my shoes” or “why didn’t everyone say hi to me at Abby’s birthday party, how rude”.

And instead know that, if Cassie doesn’t like you, that's on her and it might not be a friendship you want, knowing that no one is going to care or even notice the stain on your shoes because they’re worried about their gray hair and knowing that just because you feel like you deserve everyone to come say hi to you, remembering that it’s someone else’s day and the attention should go to them and not you for this occasion. 
As you gain experience through practicing, you start to notice more about yourself that you actually love and was a blind spot for you previously 

You start to see yourself acting in ways that you chose and you start to gain more confidence and self trust. 

You start to eliminate people who only liked you when they could use and manipulate you. 

You start finding new people who love the new authentic you and want to see you shine in whatever way you want.  

This life is meant for living and I only want to see you live yours with your light shinning so bright that I can feel it MILES AWAY.

You deserve a life you can be proud of my sweet fellow goddess!

And be ok with knowing that you will mess up along the way and there will be times where your old self is too hard to say no to. 

In those moments, take a deep breath and know breaking cycles and becoming a new you takes time and has a cycle of its own making.

But don’t give up because if you do, you’ll just go back to where you are/were of living for someone else and not yourself…..and you don’t deserve that.

I still mess up from time to time now and I know that it is ok because it will all work out in the end. 

But know that IT GETS SO MUCH EASIER the more you do it and even through it all, I would still always make the choice to go on this journey because of everything I have already gained and can’t wait for everything else to come. 


Remember to ask yourself, “what could I become and accomplish if I embraced the energy of the goddess within?” because I for one would love to see what you become.

Remember that you are beyond worthy of anything you want in life.
